Visual Arts Workshop on Wednesdays, 11am-1pm
Starting on 17th January 2018
Have you been feeling low, anxious, or fed up? Join our Visual Arts Workshop, and explore how creativity can help you relax and unwind, while learning new skills. Express your emotions, ideas and information through a variety of media, including acrylic, pastels, watercolour, collage, pencil and charcoal. The workshop is led by professional tutors who are also practising artists, and it is supported by experienced volunteers. It is a small friendly group that provides a structured environment to learn in. We welcome participants with all levels of skill, please come along and refresh your art skills or learn new ones!
Taking part in a workshop will also give you the chance to get involved CoolTan’s many other activities including visiting galleries, coming to our social events and getting your work exhibited!
How to Register
We accept both self-referrals, as well as referrals from: GPs, Occupational Therapists, Community Mental Health Teams and Support Workers. All are welcome to try a free taster session before registering for a course.
Personal Budget Holders: £25 per session
Those without a Personal Budget: £10 per session
