Knit for mental health and wellness by joining our free knitting workshop on Tuesdays, 5.30-7pm
Enjoy the therapeutic benefits of knitting while helping those in need. No previous knowledge is required for this workshop in which we create knitted clothes that will be donated to hospitals, women’s refuges, refugee drop in centres, prisons, community groups, and hospices as well as to developing countries.
Knit for Peace is an initiative of the Charities Advisory Trust.
There is a suggested donation of £1 for tea and cake.

You can also practice your knitting skills with our friends at Blackfriars Settlement on Thursday afternoons from 2pm in their ‘Knitting and Tapestry’ class. Please note that although CoolTan workshops are open to all ages, the Blackfriars Settlement ‘Knitting and Tapestry’ class is devised especially for older people (50+): http://www.blackfriars-settlement.org.uk/olderpeople
