A relaxed, drop-in session for anyone who would like to improve their computer skills, on Thursdays 11am-1pm
The CoolTan Computer Club is a free, open session for anyone who would like to learn how to use computers, or make use of the computer suite. Every Thursday, between 11am and 1pm, staff and trained volunteers will be on hand to provide support, guidance and help.
The group is especially for those who feel less confident about computers, those who may have avoided using them in the past or those wanting to discuss any concerns they have about using IT and the internet. You can learn about anything from graphic design or Microsoft Word, to surfing the internet and emailing. There’s also the option to try Learn My Way, a website of free online courses for beginners to develop digital skills.
Sessions are free, and you can drop in and stay for as long as you need each week. We are here to help you achieve what you want, in a safe and supportive environment.
