Visual Arts

Visual Arts Workshop on Tuesdays, 2-4pm

Starting on 16th January 2018

As visual forms of thinking and working are playing more and more significant roles in our society, it is also well documented that expressing yourself through visual arts improves your mental health. Join our Visual Arts Workshop, and learn how to convey emotions, ideas and information through a variety of media, including acrylic, pastels, watercolour, collage, pencil and charcoal. The workshop is led by professional tutors who are also practising artists, and it is supported by experienced volunteers. It is a small friendly group that provides a structured environment to learn in. One to one tuition is also available on request. We welcome participants with all levels of skill, please come along and refresh your art skills or learn new ones!

Taking part in a workshop will also give you the chance to get involved CoolTan’s many other activities including visiting galleries, coming to our social events and getting your work exhibited!
