Cat-astrophic kindness

It was an act of folly

of momentary blindness

a saucer overflowing

with the milk of human kindness

was left unsupervised

a tabby cat which came along

could not believe its eyes

so it dipped

its foremost paw,

it only wanted to be sure

its heart was in the right place

it had never asked a lot

but alas, it expired

in 90 seconds

from an anaphylactic shock

Inquest

The cat's black box has never been found.

Maybe the saucer did not contain

the milk of human kindness.

Maybe the cat was simply hung up.

Could a cat really become

that allergic to human kindness?
