Event Details

The Five Ways to Wellbeing are a nationally-recognised set of guidelines for anyone looking to improve their wellbeing. This Festival is an opportunity to find out more about them, and how you can pursue them in your everyday life and local community.

The day will include performances, stalls from local charities and organisations, discussion, walks and workshops.

The event is free, but please book in advance for the workshops.

Wellbeing: Southwark Wellbeing Hub, Talking Therapies Southwark, LADPP, Southwark Dementia Action Alliance, Mind and Soul Choir

Volunteering/Community: Pembroke House, Community Southwark, Link Age, Walworth Society

Get Active: Southwark Cyclists, SilverFit, Alive and Kicking

11.15am – 12pm: QiGong demonstration with Jill Newman

12.30 – 1pm: Poetry Open Mic featuring CoolTan, Mind Over Matter and Potent Whisper

2 – 3pm: What’s Your Way to Wellbeing? Talks and Discussions


11.30am – 12.15pm Soundscape Exploration with Isa Suarez

12.30 – 1.15pm Re-Use Arts and Crafts with Work and Play Scrapstore

1.30 – 2.15pm Connect with Card-Making by Cumiskey’s Creative

2.30 – 3.15pm Mindful Stitches with Veronica Rowlands

3.30 – 4.15pm Junk Rhythm and Drum with Steve Barbe


12-1.30pm Shooting the Elephant Photo Walk with @NickfromupNorth

3-3.45pm East Street with CoolWalks


2pm, 3pm  Have a ride on Ofo’s bicycles for free with Southwark Cyclists
