ITV1’s All Star Family Fortunes, hosted by Vernon Kay, is the classic game show which sees two celebrities and their families go head-to-head in a battle to win £30,000 for the charity of their choice. The show was first on air in 2006 and has recently featured Russell Grant, Carol Vorderman, Angela Rippon and Robin Cousins. The programme’s format sees the two teams, each comprising a celebrity and four members of their family, trying to guess the most popular answers given in surveys of 100 people.
Rosemary has been a patron of CoolTan Arts since 2009. Michelle Baharier, CoolTan Arts’ CEO, said “It is really fantastic to have Rosemary going the whole hog and taking our need for fundraising seriously. We are thrilled with the win.”
Thank you, rosemary, for all your hard work fundraising for CoolTan Arts. This money will make a big difference to our finances after last year’s severe funding cuts which saw our income drop by one third. £2,500 could fund workshop places for more than 100 people with complex mental health problems, significantly improving for many their quality of life. Alternately, it would enable us to put a deposit on a sorely needed new building, with improved heating and facilities.
Rosemary Shrager said “I have always wanted to do something like this for CoolTan Arts. They currently have 253 people on their waiting list so this was a wonderful opportunity to raise some money!”
