New Workshops for Spring 2017

Due to popular demand, we will be running more Connect and Discover courses in Spring 2017
Starting in February, these five and six week courses are part of a research project into community learning, run in partnership with Morley College. Aimed at adults feeling low, anxious or fed up, they aim to enhance wellbeing and help people manage their moods. CoolTan will be offering a range of courses in visual and textile arts.

What is Connect and Discover?
Connect and Discover is a project offering free short courses in order to research into the impact of community learning on wellbeing. They are aimed at adults who are
experiencing low moods, feeling anxious or fed up, and would like to feel stronger and more positive. CoolTan Arts are offering a range of visual, digital and textile arts courses.

What do we expect from you?
To take part in the research element of the course, we will ask you to complete Wellbeing questionnaires at regular intervals. The results will be used in a National Adult Education Mental Health Research Project conducted by The Department for Education.
