Volunteer of the Month: Noah

Noah started volunteering in the Marketing group and then became part of the Events group. He is always going the extra mile, helping to hang exhibitions and volunteer at events, and even tidying the store room! Thank you, Noah!

What made you decide to start volunteering here? I decided to start volunteering at CoolTan because I appreciated the mission of the organisation after doing some online research. I also wanted to have some experience working with a nonprofit group to see if I enjoyed it, and I certainly do!

Volunteer of the Month – Jonathan

Jonathan ran the Big Half for CoolTan Arts on the 4th of March 2018, and helped raise £225.

1. What made you decide to start volunteering here?

I wanted to get involved in Volunteering and I saw CoolTan Arts Walks which looked very interesting. It is for mental illness which is important to me as my family have had personal issues with it so I thought I would get involved.

Volunteer of the Month – Daniel

1. What made you decide to start volunteering here?
I saw a sign at my GP’s surgery for a CoolTan well-being adviser session and a session was arranged the next day. I spoke to the CoolTan adviser about my health and well-being – the things I was doing already and other things that might be helpful, one of which included volunteering. I have had issues with depression since my teenage years – nearly 50 years! 1. What made you decide to start volunteering here?

I was looking to volunteer where I could make use of my hobbies of Photography and Adobe Photoshop. Looking on the Do-It website I found CoolTan Arts who were looking for volunteers with these interests, so I decided to give it a try.
