WPF Therapy Exhibition 2011
The WPF Therapy exhibition opened on the 1st October 2011 and finishes on the 13th January 2012. It brings a positive outlook on art and well-being. CoolTan Arts has partnered with WPF to showcase a selection of creative work with strong colour, impact, aesthetics and content.

Batik Retrospective
The Batik Retrospective in August 2011 was an exciting exhibition and fashion show at CoolTan Arts. It involved celebrating the achievements of the Batik and Textiles class since it started in 2006 with their first major ‘RetroSpective, coinciding with the 60th Anniversary of the Festival of Britain’.

Join CoolTan Arts Conference and celebrate 100 years of International Women’s Day and women of the last century , their narratives, personal, historical or artistic.
We will explore and celebrate the lives and works of inspirational local women from the past 100 years, and personal stories of women we know. There will be particular emphasis on stories of women from marginalised and excluded groups, including disabled women, women with mental distress and refugee women.

The artists are all participants of workshops run for and by those whom have experienced mental distress, their work bears testimony to the exceptional power of art to transform and liberate. Through painting, drawing, sculpture, textile and written word we see the triumphal, extraordinary and unusual exploration of our Mad Heritage.

Nutty Professors Exhibition
An exhibition of the work of the people who teach CoolTan Arts’ workshops. The exhibition has been extended until 28th June.

‘Women that inspire you’ Exhibition at CoolTan Arts Independent Gallery

A new Art Exhibition “Women that inspire you” is being held at CoolTan Arts’ Independent Gallery from 6th March until 30th April 2010 to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The artworks have been created by artists attending CoolTan Arts’ Visual Arts workshops. The exhibition showcases inspiring women and features powerful images reflecting on women, their environments and place in society.
