Film trailer: In the studio with Maggi Hambling

In this clip Artist Maggi Hambling, who was given a CBE in the New Years honours list this year, is interviewed in her studio about her work, sexuality and mental health. Hambling is a patron of CoolTan Arts. She is a painter and sculptor whose work is held by the National Gallery in London, The Tate, and whose controversial statue of Oscar Wilde sits alongside Charing Cross Station in London. This short film directed by Mike Wyeld will be available for screenings in 2010.

‘In the studio with Maggi Hambling’ will feature at the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival at the BFI. More details and programme in February.
